Hi there.

I’m a writer and essayist based in Los Angeles, having spent the last decade in San Francisco, by way of Utah.

My writing explores the intricacies of Blackness and identity, particularly in the visual arts. I’m a contributing editor at Juxtapoz Magazine, and my writing has been featured in Elephant, ALTA Journal, New York Mag’s The Cut, The San Francisco Chronicle, Bylinebyline and others.

In addition to editorial work, I partner closely with museums and galleries to craft thoughtful essays and publications. Projects include writing for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, Stanford’s Cantor Arts Center, Stems Gallery, GNYP Gallery, MARUANI MERCIER Gallery, Night Gallery, and Marianne Ibrahim Gallery, among others.

I also lead strategic communications that champions artists and storytellers. I’m currently an Account Director at Sutton. Previously, I worked as the Senior Manager of Communications at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco [de Young and Legion of Honor museums].

Let me write for you.
