I’m a writer and essayist who lives in Los Angeles. I spent the last decade in San Francisco, by way of Utah.
My writing explores the intricacies of Blackness and identity, particularly in the visual arts. I’m a contributing editor at Juxtapoz Magazine, and my writing has been featured in Elephant, ALTA Journal, New York Mag’s The Cut, The San Francisco Chronicle, Bylinebyline and others.
My PR work champions artists and storytellers. I currently am an Account Director at Sutton. Previously, I worked as the Senior Manager of Communications at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco [de Young and Legion of Honor museums].
